Metered concrete, also known as volumetric concrete, is mixed fresh at your job site instead of being mixed at a batch plant before delivery. Express Metered Concrete uses specialized volumetric trucks that carry cement, sand, aggregate, and water separately, then combine the materials on demand as your concrete is poured.
Because the concrete is mixed on site, it stays fresh until you’re ready to use it. The mix can also be adjusted during the pour, and the amount of concrete delivered is measured as it comes off the truck. This gives you greater control over how much concrete is produced and helps reduce unnecessary waste and overordering.

What “Metered” and “Volumetric” Really Mean for You
A traditional ready-mix truck batches your concrete at a plant and drives it to you. If the plant is far away or the job runs long, that concrete can start to set before it is placed — a “hot load.” You also have to order in full-truck increments and pay for any you do not use. Our volumetric trucks carry the raw materials separately and combine them at your site, so every yard is fresh, the mix can be adjusted mid-pour, and you only pay for the volume you place. Our trucks are calibrated quarterly to ensure we are delivering exactly what you are asking for.
Standards and Certifications
We are a proud member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI). We produce mixes from
3,000 to 5,000 PSI and can build custom admixture designs to meet DOT certifications as
well as ACI, ASTM, and AASHTO standards — including specialty work that traditional
ready-mix has a hard time meeting.
